Accidentally Wes Anderson

Copy editing & content strategy

Accidentally Wes Anderson is many things, an award-winning content platform, a best-selling book, an Instagram with over 1.8 million followers, and a global community of Adventurers.

Working closely with the tight-knit team based in AWA’s New York City HQ, I provide ongoing content strategy advising the team on how to make their content work harder for their business goals, engage their million-plus strong community, and sync these efforts with paid activities.

As part of this, I helped the team revise their planning strategy, streamlining and focussing processes to make content planning and publishing more efficient and goal-driven.

I also have the privilege of acting as the copy editor for website content, managing their network of freelance writers and helping to shape their writing output, which includes brand partner briefs for the likes of Hendrick’s Gin, Graduate Hotels, the DLR Group, and more.

Georgie is an absolute gem of a creative partner. Top class in all aspects: communication, skill, ability, and frankly, delight.

Georgie brings a wealth of contextual knowledge around how to best connect with both creative teams and business-minded partners. This is a rare skill, and her tactful diplomacy and empathy with all project participants is one of the most valuable aspects of bringing Georgie onto your project.

Personally, I’ve engaged her to help strategize and execute against some very complex and lofty goals. The ongoing journey has been very rewarding, and I always look forward to connecting with Georgie for both professional and personal reasons.
