I love food. It’s brought me joy, friendships, healing, and a lot of left overs.
This isn’t work, per se, but it’s my passion project so I’m indulging myself by including this.
almost al dente means something that’s not quite perfect, not quite ready just yet. Food is meant to be fun and spontaneous, and that’s what the site is. I don’t spend tonnes of time on my creations - the food or the posts - fussing about and making them perfect. Most of the recipes I’ve only ever cooked once, and not tested over and over again.
But that’s okay, people can read, enjoy, take the words and the recipes and make them their own.
I’d like that.
