Musicians Wanted
Each year streetwear and street culture brand Vans creates local iterations of Musicians Wanted, a competition to find the best undiscovered and independent talent.
In 2020 Vans APAC joined forces with Universal Music and Spinnup on the annual campaign, offering all artists the ability to enter the Vans competition and receive free distribution for the music, in the hope of being discovered and signed by Universal Music’s labels. Launching the competition during the first year of Covid meant that it was held predominantly online for the first time. We worked together with Vans on content, press, branded assets, an artist photoshoot, a live pop-up and the judging of the campaign.
